The hero - in the sense of half gods SAINT SEIYA !

His glance maybe turned towards his fate, towards this distant country of the Orient, SEIYA shows us the way.
Native of the empire of the Rising Sun, bearing the red tunic, the color of the Japan's emperor, the "comet" Seiya because such is the meaning of his name, is 13 year old.

This young knight was born on December 1st, a Sagittarian, weighing 106 pounds for 1,65 m.
A small size but of an energy and a will outside the common. The hero of the series is the leader of the small troop of the Bronze knights.
His fury to overcome and his self-abnegation makes of him much more than a common Saint.
His charisma denotes unmistakably with regard to his comrades-in-arms and half brothers.
Faithful knight of Athena, maybe because the comet and the meteors of Pegasus echo perfectly the ancient origin of the goddess Athena, this deity "with the brilliant eyes" and with the ….
The first version of his armor is like the ones of his companions perfectly functional and ensures a relatively effective protection.
The helmet with horse-headed shape protects his head, and his heart is dressed in a metal armor.
His legs are covered as well as his shoulders and his forearms. In brief, the aesthetics allied with the practice.

Saint Seiya, the tight fists. In his new Silver livery. Before the lightning swoops down on the opponent, before the comet gives the enemy a thrashing, powerful as the hoofs of the mythological horse which could open the ground to make fountains spout up.

The attribute showing the biggest change remains the helmet which disappears purely and simply in favour of a "diadem". On the other hand, besides the throat, the chest and the heart are now protected. Unfortunately, the belt lost its protecting effect.

Also, the winged-heels are not of the best utility in case of flexing but forget it…

SEIYA wrapped up with the golden armor of the Sagittarius, straining his bow, signs that the outcome is close.
The only Saint who deserves regularly to carry the sacred armor. Doubtless because he is the only warrior of the sign of the Sagittarius. But also because he's the most devoted. SEIYA gets his hero's stripes during the Saori's kidnapping by the silver Saint JAMIAN.
Remember how he risked one's all by taking twice its impulse on the sides of mountains… destroying half this one. Remind how he cushioned his fall, broken his arm, how he jumped and dived into the abyss, with Athena in his the arms.
It is the moment when something really happened, the moment when the emotion was born and when the series becomes another thing than the linking of more or less successful fights.
