SACHIEL is the first Angel to attack Tokyo 3 and the third of these strange ever met "creatures". In episodes 1 and 2, the aspect surprises at once. Immense and thin as a tense skeleton of black skin, it - or maybe he ( who knows ) will not leave any chance with the conventional forces of the U.N: the ultimate weapon - not atomic - the bomb N2 will ravage a larghe part of the city but will leave him of intact.

Invulnerable but not invincible. It is SHINJI IKARI who for his first time in the commands of the EVA 01 will blow this monster, symbol of the water. SHINJI or rather the biomecha will bersek seriously, exploding SACHIEL's heart, its red pearl ( the well known CORE) with a big kick. Not very elegant but terribly effective.
