Record of Lodoss War
[ The Mythology of Lodoss ]

At first was Leviathan, ATSUKI. The Earth was created with its flesh, of the blood poured rivers and oceans, of the breath the wind and lle Fire. Four Elements and the flesh engendered crowd of gods and goddesses. The left foot became CHA ZA, Goddess of the Business and the Health, its right foot was born MYRII, goddess of the War. The head became RADA, Goddess of the Knowledge and especially its trunk was born MARFA, Goddess of all the creations.

Soon, the right hand became FALALIS ( PHARARIS), a goddess of the Darkness who was set against her, FALLIS, godess of the Light... Dragons took shape of its scales!

At first was a continent. ARAYERUST. The fall of the Gods which after hundred years of a merciless war jetent their last force. MARFA for the Good and KARDIS for the Evil. Ultimate battle which ends by a status quo.

MARFA TERRASE the evil but this one collecting her last forces, manages to blow up the continent. Some estimate on the contrary that it is MARFA who chooses to separate MARMO, a little as somebody who chooses to cut himself an arm gangréné rather than to die from a blood-poisoning.

In this island world, the people stemming from the blood of the Gods possess the MANA, magic force which allows them of assoier KASTUUL's realm.

The Barbarians who do not master or badly the MANA are pushed away on the borders of the Realm. Wars make fury between these two clans. To FLAIM, ASARD, powerful Elementaliste of the Fire and the faced Wind. The desert which from now on exists in these parts of the country is the track of these battles.

To base the power of the Realm for centuries, the magicians of KASTUUL decide to create, in the PARADISE CROWN, the powerful artifacts. The nurse of these artefacts is confided to five big dragons:

-BURAMUDO, the Dragon of Ice, living in the Mountains of the extreme Nort Est. He keeps the MIRROR OF THE TRUTH which allows to answer any questions. Of a beneficial adaptation, he is considered as the most ancient and the wisest of all the dragons.

-EIBRA, the Dragon of the Water. Alive near the town of RAIDEN, this demonic guard keeps the Crystal ball of the Souls which allows to resuscitate the deaths.

-MAISEN, Golden dragon, the only one having feathers and really beneficial. Alive in MOSS's realm, he protects the artifact allowing of guerir wounds and diseases. This Dragon will raise itself during the final fight against NARSE.

-NARSE, the Dragon of the Darkness. Slumbering in the depthes of the chateau of MARMO'S CONQUERA, he takes care of the Casket of the savoirt which contains all the knowledge of past. One crowned responsibility for this demonic Dragon.

-SHOOTING STAR, Dragon of the Fire. The most known and the most powerful of 5 LODOSS's big Dragons. This Dragon man-eater lives in the Mountain of Fire, situated among FLAIM AND RAIDEN. he watches the Scepter of Dominion that ASHRAM and especially VAGNARD wants to steal for reveiller the goddess KARDIS. It is this dragon which is at the origin of PIROTESSA's death during the attack of the volcano.

But nothing is eternal. The powerful Magic Realm declines, the Barbarians start again of the hair of the animal and soon, the inhabitants of KASTUUL are reduced to nothingness.

A single survivor among the rubble of this former realm. KARLA. By developing the faculty of transferer its essence in an artifact, she survives during almost of five centuries, using the body of human beings or young ladies. From now on, KARLA will take care of what the tragic lot of KASTUUL is not renewed.

But hatred is firm. The resolute Evil. In MOSS's cave, the part of the country situated in the Southwest of Lodoss, slumbers a King Devil, very fast woken. Chaos beats down again on LODOSS. Of the sword - devil SOULCRUSHER, stemming from intestines of the goddess, and her blood are born monsters, killer whales and the other trolls.

Among hundred hero of LODOSS, FALLIS chooses 7 of it:

The Seventh is a warrior magician, nameless, raising an artifact on the forehead... Karla. To them 7, and in spite of FLAUSS's death, they bring down the malefic goddess. BELD becomes King of MARMO, FAWN that of the LODOSS, NEESE, Grande Prétresse of MARFA to ALANIA.

Some centuries later, the goddess envoute the Lord de Marmo to put low hand on the big ile. She will be countered. Six heroes will manage to ruin the devilish plans. Thirty years later, history beguaie. FALLIS is back and hears indeed managing to conquer LODOSS.
