The Third millennium will doubtless be that of the advent of machines or cyberoides. With Bubblegum Crisis, we finds this idea that robots are going to become more and more numerous and indispensable to replace the homo sapiens in the low jobs and the difficult works. After all, the term "ROBOT" mean "work" !

Instead of treating this concept like the Anime PATLABOR with the development of mechas giants, BUBBLEGUM CRISIS plays the card of the humanoid. Mechatronics's mixture and of Biotechnological, these biomachines are configured to make dangerous professions but also, after the earth quake which destroys Tokyo, indispensable to reconstruct NEO TOKYO, these machines become more and more similar to their creator.

Difficult to know why but this tendency - which one finds for example in the Spielberg A.I's last film. - is still the proof that the man takes too often himself for a demiurge. Then this BOOMERS begis by cover synthetic skins, with armour plating in Abotex, then one develops their capacities of artificial intelligence.

Boomers B.U.55 A/ B / C due to the Professor Stingray become autonomous and possess a high level of Intelligence. The GENOM offers us during BUBBLEGUM CRISIS'S OAV several BOOMERS's types, delivered in pature to Knights Sabers:

- BOOMERS. 55 of series A, B and C which have the particularity of power to merge with any object of metal, what allows to take the control of objects.

- B.U.12.B are Boomers designed for Combat and are widely as high as Knights Sabers ... and the Police is clearly not equipped to stop them. They possess one 12.7 (a machine gun which the servicemen well know) and even a Bazooka of 46 millimeters made terribly effective due to a video system and an infrared radar. They can even move quickly due to dorsal boosters or at the calfs!
