Bubble Gum Crisis is a series of renowned OAVs which marked profoundly as the Japanese animation as all Otakus. In 1986, surfing doubtless on BLADE RUNNER's event where a disenchanted policeman hunts Replicants, the studios TOEMI, ARTMIC and YOUMEX produce an OAV which should not followed by aftereffects :

" Four young ladies, drawn by KENICHI SONODA, dressed in armors or hardsuits pursue cybernetic monsters called BOOMERS".
